Did they give any idea about delivery as I was told to expect it to be 1st Sept. reg now?

They are suggesting August, we'll probably wait for the new reg in Sept unless the car turns up early.

If the little ST is what you want then believe me it is worth waiting for ! It is a superb small package and every bit as good as the reviews say !

Blade7, thats better than DtD told me, 12-14wks.
I'm waiting for a demo in an S1 before ordering, they say it won't depreciate like the ST but its 25k plus options.

Seen a debate about S1 vs ST elsewhere....and from my own point of view if you would seriously consider an S1 then an ST is not the car for you, because they are in a different class and aimed at different types of buyers.
You can easily spec an S1 up to 30 grand simply by adding desirable options, and that to me is far too much to spend on a small car.

Ron, I agree with you entirely about the price point that is even wider if you take account of DtD discounts, but the cars are in the same category according to the comments made in the recent road testers. Having sat in an S1 I was not overly impressed, very basic for an Audi, but decided to wait for a demo before making a decision. To be honest the only things that put me off the ST is 1/. the lead-time of 12-14 wks for a Fiesta is crazy and is not that dissimilar to the S1 and 2./ I'm too old to wear a back to front cap and might look stupid driving it. Mountune tell me they have an 80 year old customer so time yet.

i ordered my SB Fiesta ST3 start of May (G2L) and delivery to Dealership will be first week of July

Seems they are getting popular on lease deals and forming quite a back log!

the golf r leases are very good and i would of cancelled my ST order for an r but cant be doing waiting another ~16 weeks for the R!

Can you recommend anyone for a lease quote? I tried the one over on the Golf R thread but they never contacted me, it was 179 pm for R or ST. Assume there is no option to buy at end of term.

Yes the same company I tried, no call-back and business use only for the R and no option to buy I assume?

On the subject of TPMS with valve sensors being fitted instead of the previous DDS, i was wondering if this newer system would also be fitted to the Focus.
My Focus was built on 6th of June and after obtaining the VIN number from my dealer, a quick check on Etis lists - Tyre Pressure Sensors - 433 MHZ.
So it looks like these are now being fitted as standard across the range as an upgrade to DDS.

Yes, seems as from 26 May all Fiestas get them so expect its Focus too. However it's still the light that comes on if a low pressure is detected.
No TPs displayed as with other manufacturers as no driver info screen.

You will be glad you went for the Fiesta. I considered an R and a Cupra 280 but ended up with the Fiesta ST3 as it was the most fun I had had in a car in a while.

I bought my ST3 molten orange with half orange seats, love it! Got my Mountune pack to be fitted in the next week too as my dealer didn't supply them as standard.

Enjoy!

Picking up my Fiesta ST-3 in Molten Orange at the end of the month, can't wait, this will be my first ever new car. Should compliment our Mk7 Fiesta ZS, Mk5 Fiesta ZS and ST220 quite nicely..

Picked up my st1 in molten orange, came with free style pack and only option was privacy glass to the rear. I prefer the 'basic' grey recaro seats.
DTD was ok, having to turn up in person was ball ache...how come i remortgaged from comfort of my own home and didn't need to go anywhere near the bank?!?
In hindsight i would have saved the cash and gone for red, orange is eye-catching but god help me if it needs a panel painting in the future!
My 06 focus had better quality interior plastics, some of the fiesta is really nasty...but then i didn't buy it with high quality at the top of my list.
It is a true fast Ford, bit flimsy around the edges but a cracking motor and engaging chassis. Not missing my 968 Sport much.... Ok i am.

We picked up our Panther Black ST-2 back in July with only option being the style pack, but the deal was good for a brand new car available from stock.

Will have ours Mountuned when it's a year old, along with the short shifter and probably the lowered springs they are now offering.

Great little cars, and bags of fun.

Anyone in the Yorkshire area after a Mountune upgrade then we are doing it for £650 fitted at Stoneacre in York, just give us a call on 01904650014 and ask for Adam or Trevor, we keep them in stock and only takes an hour to fit so can do them whenever you want.

Mountune on its way after its fully run in and oil changed. Seems they now run a 5w 20 but i'll put a recommended 5w 30 in there as it will be driven quite hard.
