Seems they now run a 5w 20 but i'll put a recommended 5w 30 in there as it will be driven quite hard.
Yes thats the same as the Focus, 5W-20 can be used in all petrol engines, and 5W-30 can be used in all engines petrol and diesel with the exception of 1.0 Ecoboost where 5W-20 must be used.Nice car by the way.

My delivery date is set for Thuesday. ST-3 in spirit blue.
That could be either Tuesday or Thursday - only one letter wrong or added for each. Spirit Blue is one of the best colour options, but be aware it marks very easily.
You've just reminded me that I need to purchase some cleaning gear.

My delivery date is set for Thuesday. ST-3 in spirit blue. I hadn't seen many in that colour. Loads around now. Typical. I just see a Golf R out in the wild, which I had cancelled. So hoping I done the right thing. This week at work is going to go slow.
We had a MK6 GTI with Revo stage 2 software (300bhp/350lbft) before our Fiesta ST2 and I am also really interested in the new Golf R, can see this may be its replacement in a few years time. I enjoy the chassis of the ST over my old Golf, but really miss the power sadly.Riskins said:

I've ticked off the hot hatchback and fast Ford boxes so what's next? I'm not sure. I have two years to decide.

after taking delivery of mine, i've seen this up tonight at my favorite car auction house in Kinross,
i wonder how much it goes for, (and why it's at an auction)
The market is awash with ST's, and considering that you can buy a new one for just over £14k, their used prices are pretty low (even ones with minimal miles).i wonder how much it goes for, (and why it's at an auction)
Had ours delivered last week, an ST-2 in Spirit Blue.
It'll be wife's car really as my mileage means a 50mpg diesel wafter. Very happy so far. It's decently quick and a thumping overtaker on the Welsh A&B roads it will traverse.
A 4hr motorway journey presented itself this weekend and I decided to cram the family in to see how it coped. -Pretty well, but let's be clear, motorway cruising is not a strength. Not comfy enough, ride is constantly jiggly and the symposer creates a boomy drone which just becomes annoying. -You begin swallowing as if you're in a plane to equalise the pressure in your ears that the symposer pumps into the cabin. Settle down to a more relaxed pace keeping revs down and things are OK. All this isn't too problematic though. It won't do many long journeys. It's managed 34mpg straight out of the box and just about fitted all our stuff in the boot. Kids were comfy and uncomplaining in back despite space taken up by the big Recaros (why are they that big?) Ford Sync worked brilliantly with iPod & phones but it took 2 hours of stabbing buttons to work out how to tune DAB to 6Music.
Bottom line is that as a little hot hatch which will do school run and wife's commute with some back road blasting when I can steal the keys, things are looking good.
