ST2's are roughly £11,000-12,000 with 10k miles on them.
Do people think they are worth that much at the moment?

I'm in need of a car and I really like the looks and what the Fiesta ST has to offer. Just haven't driven one yet.
I've got an MR230 with similar mileage going up for sale for a similar price if you're interested - that's a lot more car and considerably better value for money. Reason for sale, FRS due in the next couple of months else I'd be keeping it because I love the ST2.

I bought one two days later. Enjoying it so far smile
Kind of wish I had bought a modded one however. Needs a bit more oomph.

Absolutely but if it's as good as my MR230 then it'll be worth every penny. Sure, there are other tuners on the market but if I weren't selling my MR230 at the moment then I'd have it booked into Mountune for the MR265 next month without hesitation.

Gutted.

New job means the ST has to go, while its averaging 47/48mpg on the longer drives, I really need an auto diesel mile muncher.

The residuals of the ST3 seem quite good, does anyone have good experience of private sales of 12/18 month old ST's,it's advertised on PH, is it worth trying eBay?

So I let my lease car go back. I was dabbling with the idea of buying it, but they wanted £12K. It's up for just over £13K here: http://www.carshop.co.uk/used-car/FORD/FIESTA/BK64...
if anyone wants one. Looked after really well and run on V Power. From looking at the prep photos there are water marks on the interior where they have 'cleaned' it. It was imaculate when it went back. Shame really, but it's not mine now and new car on order.

I think I'll revisit the ST second hand in a few years. It's not a car I'll forget and very good all rounder. Even carried the golf clubs or luggage for three people. Would have liked to have tried he MP215 upgrade though. Hope you're enjoying yours still.

Well I've bought a white ST3. First new car I've bought. I'm far too old for it at 46 but by Christ am I having fun in it.

A brilliant little car.

When I finally get get rid of my 2005 WRX I'll definitely be looking at the ST3.215 or whatever is available at the time. Trouble is I don't want to part with the Scooby. It's such a great car and only done 47k.

But just think of the fuel you'd save though!

Just ordered myself an ST-2 in spirit blue from DTD this afternoon. I'm really excited but have to wait until end of march/ beginning of April. It's going to be a long wait.
