Ah good, thought it should be standard as the mrs ford ka has one. So basically an aux jack point standard then there was the option for USB/Bluetooth so you could display tracks etc on stereo.
Yep, I think that's right. It was a pretty cheap option so I think most would have it.

Well here she is, picked up this morning. It's as close to brand new as I would expect anyone to find!

You will be disappointed to hear its getting black wheels on Tuesday then haha. Well first impressions after a couple of days it's fab, feels much quicker than figures suggest once rolling. Handles very well and doesn't really feel a heavy car when you push it quite nimble really. Fuel stuck £40 in yesterday which the computer seemed to think would give me over 200 miles so not too bad for the performance.

Do your homework on that
I've fitted a mongoose on one & wasn't impressed by either the noise or the fit

The miltek system fits perfectly & doesn't drone (full system though not cat back)
The bcs system is also very good

Hmmm thinking I need to hear some in the flesh as the mongoose seems to get great reviews, around 84db is that about right for a cat back?

Ive had a Mongoose on mine since 2010 (2009 car) and it sounds fantastic.

If your going for a CAT back, I wouldn't worry too much about droning as that issues mainly arises from de-CAT.

Only issue ive had is a rattle from a flexi section, but even though the warranty was done, Collins still replaced smile

AUX is in the centre console. The BT/USB option paired with the Sony 6 CD DAB is a bloody nice bit of kit. Bearing in mind for LUX2 Satnav kits, you lose the DAB.

Well an update on my original thread, still love the car its got such a split personality..through the week for work it allows you to cruise about in comfort then come my days off an absolute riot. Mongoose cat backs been added along with getting the wheels done in gloss black. Bluefin is being ordered this friday for a bit more poke!!

On a twisty b road the cars really at home, its been a long time since I've owned a car where the standard suspension setup is supple enough to handle our bumpy twisties. If I'm very careful I can get around 24mpg around town but I'm afraid I like hearing the warble of the 5 pot too much so its nearer 20mpg. Best hot hatch I've driven as an all rounder..if your toying with buying do it!!

Ive just passed 5 years of ownership with 32k on the clock.

Just drove 856 mile round trip to RSOC National Day at Donington and the car was great.

Held its own against an E63 AMG.

Definitely going to be keeping mine smile

Stage 1 bluefin just been added to mine made such a difference to the car. It's got a real edge to it now very impressed with the car. Think mine will be staying for the foreseeable.
