Air Con Problems Ka 2002

Hello, Not sure if anybody will be able to help me as I'm a complete novice when it comes to cars my KA air con does not work (only blows hot air) Its been unbareable in the hot weather and I was wondering what I can do to fix it or narrow down what the problem is?

It may just need regassing, or it may have a hole in the system somewhere. Get a proper leak test done (even Kwik Fit can do them for a few quid).

heater control valve is your problem only fit a ford 1 dont fit non gen 1

Any Idea how much? Also how and whereabouts I would fit it?
Thinking I would get my boyfriend to fit it

Would I need to do this aswell as buying a valve?
Also any idea how much to regass ?
