I'm looking at buying the above, the size of the van would be very helpful to me however I cannot insure a normal panel van due to insurance being around £2.5k.
If I get quotes for the above it comes in at around £400.
The extra seats will also come in handy a couple times a year too
I cannot get insurance quotes on the mk7 (I think 56/07 plate onwards, the database doesn't recognise it?)

My budget is £5.5k max so in that range they vary from 04-06 and around 80k miles to 130k miles. (I don't want to go too old or too high mileage)

What should I be looking out for?

Is there a alternative you'd recommend? (But needs to be insurable via car insurance not commercial)
