Anyone bought a Ford through a broker recently?
Looking for a Fiesta ST-2 as a second car as our old Focus is crumbling away quite rapidly and the Fiesta sounds
like a fun car to drive (Cant find one locally to test drive yet frown ) and looks better than most in the same class of car.

Drivethedeal and Broker4cars seem to be quoting some very good prices just now or at least better than what I was being told at the dealer I visited at the weekend. Any pitfalls I should watch out for buying from a broker? or is it much and such the same as buying from a main dealer just not face to face.

Bought my focus in march through drive the deal was very straight forward & I would happily recommend them

The saving more than made up for the journey from Kent to wales to pick the car up!

I took delivery of my Fiesta ST-2 about 5 weeks ago,,
bought through drive the deal and i'd recommend them,

minus points were:
i had to wait 12 weeks for a "factory order", my local Ford dealer had them in stock
I live in scotland, drivethedeal don't deliver in scotland for the advertised price,
the dealer with the best deal wanted me to sign the finance papers at the dealership,

but,,, Drive the deal did offer to arrange through another dealer who would do the paperwork via post (but this dealer wasn't as cheap as the original dealer) and deliver the car to scotland for a small extra fee,
but i ended up collecting the car in person from the cheaper dealer saving about £3,500 of RRP,
however i could get a discount locally, so it was about £2,000 cheaper than i could get from my local ford dealer,

but as i say, i'll definitely use them again, i'll just think 12 week ahead next time!
thinking about a Kuga, and they can get about £5,000 off them at the moment
