Puma clutch/flywheel

Whilst spanking the OH's Puma last night, the car suddenly developed this fault and I'm in the dog house. When changing into 3rd suddenly the car won't go into gear. I slowed down and can get all gears but it's much harder to engauge. There is a vibration under 3k revs (very noticeable) and a rattle when the clutch is depressed.

The car has done 100k and was due a clutch, but these are dmf symptoms so was wondering if the little puma has one And is my wallet about to get a bashing?

Any help would be great, we both love this cheeky little car!
