Just been to view the car and looked at the offending PLASTIC PIPE that burst. It was incredibly brittle. See below.

Car has been returned, all repaired at Fords cost. The Brittle Plastic tube above has been replaced by a Rubber Hose.
Hopefully that will prevent the problem reoccurring.

If you have the plastic hose on your car, i would strongly recommend changing it asap.
