Most powerful Focus Estate - auto only

I'm thinking about a Focus estate for my next car, but I need to get an automatic. Naturally, being a PHer, I want something with reasonable grunt. So what's the most powerful engine option that Ford ever made available in the Focus estate with an auto gearbox option? Diesel or petrol, not brand new, something between 3-8 years old is where I'd be looking.

i would think a 2.0 petrol

Those seem to go up to about, what, 130bhp max? Is there any engine out there in an auto estate with over 150bhp, ideally 170-200?

i know there are ST170 in estate form, but not in auto . Best bet maybe a diesel estate with a remap!

Hmm, that's getting close. I'd ideally like something to beat my existing Mazda 6 2.0 petrol with its 147 bhp. Fully laden (boot full, 4 people, bikes on roof) it struggles on motorways when the road starts pointing upwards.

Were any of the higher power diesels available with an auto option?

cant see any. Auto option sort of rules out the faster fords

OK, cheers. I'll probably have to move up to Mondeo class to find the power I want I suppose. Shame, I'd rather have a smaller car than that.

3 years old just falls into the bracket of the very first of the current shape focus. You can get a 163bhp 2.0 tdci powershift (ford's version of DSG).

However unsure if this was available on the very first models.

1.6T ecoboost is available with 180PS on 2011MY cars, I think.
basically the Fiesta ST engine... Rare though.

Im almost positive the 182PS engine was first introduced on 2012 Model Year Focus, which means it should have been available at the end of 2011.
It is only available with Zetec S and Titanium X trim, but in any case is not available with Ford's Powershift automatic gearbox so unfortunately couldnt even be considered.
