st170 or seat Leon 1.8 turbo

Hi all

I'm looking for some advice on the focus st170 and the seat Leon 1.8 turbo. I have 1500 pounds to spend but am wondering which car is more reliable and a better all rounder. Any professional advice would be much appreciated.

Years ago the wife had to make the same choice, she picked the focus due to the good handling. The issue is with the ST170 is finding a good one, it took me ages to find one putting out all its horses and had been looked after. We have had ours 4 years now and I'm now covering 20k a year in it (upgraded the wife to an Audi S4) and it has been 100% reliable (however I do look after cars). Drive both and see what you prefer as the ST170 can be marmite.

ive just brought an st170 and instantly had a smile on my face.. its not normally my sort of car but i love it already. its not been messed about with either and covered 100k my plan is to keep it standard and just do few little tidy up bits.. n/a over boost anyday.
