Just about to change the clocks in the wifes 08 galaxy to a converse+ set up.
Just wondering if anyone knows a quick way to do it...
I know the older mk2 was fairly sraight forward but a quick look at this mk3 seems to suggest half the dash needs to come apart as there seem to be a lot of hidden fixings and the trim panel to the bottom of the speedo covering the 2 fixings holding the lower section of the speedo in place doesnt seem to just unclip as the mk3s used ..
After searching the net I can still only find removal diagrams for the older mk2.. in some cases they are listed as mk3 but definately arent.

Hi,

I am about to start the process of replacing the LCD (because of dead cells) , did you find a way of removing the instrument cluster on a Mk3 ?

Cheers

yeah, just worked it out for myself, pretty easy if I am honest.
Does involve the side trim on the centre console being removed and the entire panel below the column and the trim to the rh side.

Hi,

I assume that the removal of the trim (including the lower airbag) then provides access to any screws holding in the instrument cluster ?

Thanks
