Hi all,

I've a Mk2 Escort track / race project that is progressing along nicely, which currently has small strut top holes.

I want to be able to prepare the shell to be able to take the best suspension option that I can afford, and to be future-proof for whatever upgrades I might do in the future.

I'm tempted to alter my shell to the large hole spec, however am interested in the collective opinions on the pros and cons. MY logic is that the larger holes will give me much more options regarding the amount of angle I can alter for camber and caster if I use an eccentric / adjustable top mount.

Anyone?

Is there an alternative area where classic Ford stuff gets discussed, rather than in the specific / general Ford forum area?

Try oldskoolford forums. Plenty of escort guys over on there.

With eccentric top mounts and adjustable TCA's, you would be able to get more than enough camber, so I would leave the holes as they are.
