Ford B/C Max

Just doing some initial research into the above 2 cars , with the prospect I may well buy one of them , (Most likely the C Max, but we'll see)

I do knw, that Ford offewr a spacesaver spare wheel/tyre as an option , to me, absolutely essential. However the thought crossed my mind if a Full and proper spare wheel/tyre would also fit?

I'm wondering if it will, it may be diameter specific , perhaps the 16" and 17" fitting , and the 18" not, if thats the case.

Anyhow, anyone any idea? A "proper" spare would be great.

My dad has a b Max titanium (x pack) and he wanted a spare which the dealer supplied (car was used purchase). A full size will not fit (too wide) it has to be a space saver.

Even then if the car has the tidy pack (which my dads does) then the boot storage solution does not fit properly with a space saver there, so has to come out

Thanks for that , I had a feeling the full size wheel may have problems, the space saver seems a pretty full fit in the well.

I'll begrudgingly accept a space saver, but would be much happier with a proper spare.

Oh well, decisions, decisions.

Thats interesting, a bit early for me, unsure which car I shall be buying as yet.

I'll bookmark the thread, and perhaps get back to you if you don't sell it.
