They dont get their demo car for at least another week.
Paul.
I drove one yesterday, loved it, ordered it.
Nitrous blue, every option ticked bar the upgrade wheels (getting the originals powder coated black) and the sunroof.
Delivery will be around 12 months. Sales man reckons there are only 4,000 cars being built and Ford now have orders in place for over 3,500 cars. He may or may not have beel bullstting, I'm not sure why he would though as it was pretty obvious even before the demo that I would be going for it.

Ford garage in Warrington have one in their showroom. Felt a little underwhelming to sit inside, could have easily been sat in a Titanium model if it wasn't for the Recaro seats, which felt very narrow (maybe they're adjustable).
The wife dragged me away from it as we were actually there to look at a Kuga!

The interior was a real disappointment for me too, also, the Recaro shell seats sat too high for me, I would have preferred them an inch or two lower, it felt much higher and almost van like compared to my Golf R, I suppose the narrow cabin you mention may be adding to this feeling. The wife dragged me away from it as we were actually there to look at a Kuga!

Which dealer was this? I might pop in for a look. How did it compare to the mk2 FRS? Nitrous blue, every option ticked bar the upgrade wheels (getting the originals powder coated black) and the sunroof.

Day's Swansea, they have a fully loaded Nitrous blue car as their demo. They also had another blue car and a white one in, but they were customer cars, the blue customer car with standard wheels, seats and no privacy glass looked pants next to the demo with all the above and black wheels:The Nitrous blue is really impressive in the sunlight.
I only drove it on dual carriageways and stuff but it certainly felt a lot quicker (not as quick as my R though ), exhaust noise was quieter than expected but the crackles from the exhaust were good fun, it felt more responsive going round the roundabouts than my R does and I have no doubt it will take a pretty serious bit of kit to out run it in the twisties.

Standard issue with all modern fords including the RS's..My MK1 RS has the same problem..
