No one seems to know that. There are loads sitting at some place called Flushing in Holland. Some are now at Dagenham allegedly too

For anyone intrested and in the Leeds / Yorkshire area they have just got one in at Lookers Ford on York Road.

Was told that it was a demo car and should be ready to drive next week! Got a few pics;

Drove straight to a BMW dealer to enquire a 330e, but, the big factor is the BIK tax!

I drove one yesterday, loved it, ordered it.

Nitrous blue, every option ticked bar the upgrade wheels (getting the originals powder coated black) and the sunroof.

Delivery will be around 12 months. Sales man reckons there are only 4,000 cars being built and Ford now have orders in place for over 3,500 cars. He may or may not have beel bullstting, I'm not sure why he would though as it was pretty obvious even before the demo that I would be going for it.

Still waiting for the demo car to arrive at my local RS place... although deposit has been down for a few months already. Every option except sunroof.

Ford garage in Warrington have one in their showroom. Felt a little underwhelming to sit inside, could have easily been sat in a Titanium model if it wasn't for the Recaro seats, which felt very narrow (maybe they're adjustable).

The wife dragged me away from it as we were actually there to look at a Kuga!

The interior was a real disappointment for me too, also, the Recaro shell seats sat too high for me, I would have preferred them an inch or two lower, it felt much higher and almost van like compared to my Golf R, I suppose the narrow cabin you mention may be adding to this feeling.

When I say narrow, I mean the seats are too narrow. Or perhaps I'm too wide. Must be the seats.

Which dealer was this? I might pop in for a look. How did it compare to the mk2 FRS?

Day's Swansea, they have a fully loaded Nitrous blue car as their demo. They also had another blue car and a white one in, but they were customer cars, the blue customer car with standard wheels, seats and no privacy glass looked pants next to the demo with all the above and black wheels:

The Nitrous blue is really impressive in the sunlight.

I only drove it on dual carriageways and stuff but it certainly felt a lot quicker (not as quick as my R though boxedin), exhaust noise was quieter than expected but the crackles from the exhaust were good fun, it felt more responsive going round the roundabouts than my R does and I have no doubt it will take a pretty serious bit of kit to out run it in the twisties.

I know who you are!

Why don't you tell the RS Owners club forum how underwhelmed you are, that will go well I'm sure wink

This photo has been doing the rounds on Facebook since yesterday afternoon (pic taken from a Ford owners FB page). Is anyone on here experiencing last minute delays picking up their car, or was asked to take their car back to the dealership? I also read this only affects a certain batch.

My friend has been dealt with in a dismissive manner by this dealer. After reading your post he contacted Days and a secretary asked him why he hadn't tried a Cardiff based dealership for a demo and has said that no test drive will be available, just a pilot ride with the manager.
