2016 Focus RS - latest on power, price or launch date?

I'm 6ft and find my CS seats to be just perfect. But then I would have set it slightly high as that's my preferred driving position anyway.

There's plenty of demo cars about now with and without the CS seats so take your time to find which is best for your shape.

Other than that - great spec - although my opinion is that the sunroof ruins the look on anything but a black or magantic grey car where you don't notice it as much.

Generally speaking this is true. I have relatively short legs but a long body, so if everything was in proportion I should be at least a couple of inches taller.

Apparently 2 of these cruising around Marlow this week. I only saw the nitrous blue one but it looked excellent.

Jealous of everyone who's awaiting delivery! ...almost wish I'd fought the crap Ford ordering process and got involved myself!

Interesting section on Flop Gear: Extra gear where they stuck the focus around the test track - can't remember exact time but it was between the e92 M3 and a lotus exige. Impressive time but the lap looked horrible, all wobbly and doing that skippity thing mid corner.

Yep, I watched extra gear while I was having my mot done. I'm not sure what Chris Harris had been smoking this week, loved the mediocre Mustang just because it has a V8 and hates the RS on track because it under steered a bit - weird.

I was filling my ST up with petrol at Shell Romford the other day and a nitrous blue RS rolled up next to me. Not sure if you're on here. If so "Hello". I was in the spirit blue Fiesta.

I've read back a few pages looking for the answer and seen people chatting spec and wheels and wraps etc so sorry if I've missed the post, but I'm guessing these are all sold out. As that car really did look lovely next to its younger brother and I'm wondering about buying one.

You should have opened with Fiesta ST because I assumed you were driving a Focus. Spirit Blue is a lovely colour, so I'm still baffled why Ford discontinued it on the Focus ST.
It's not "sold out", there are no limits on production as far as I am aware....just a waiting list for factory orders.
Technically the Fiesta is an older relation - it's a little brother to the Focus ST but more a cousin of the Focus RS I would say.

Thanks for that. I overheard it, or possibly read it somewhere and then didn't think about it until I see one. My current lease goes back in a few months so the the head started thinking.

I wonder why they dropped the colour? Residuals maybe?

Cousin is probably more apt.

Semi officially there's a limit of 4-4,500 which I think is largely driven by the closing of the Mk3 production line at the end of next year. I think they're close to that number sold already, but I'd be surprised if you can't order one yet. Wait is 10-12 months though. Ordered mine in January and expecting it somewhere between Sept and Dec....

They are still available to order. There's no limit they keep saying but the current wait is a year and they will need to stop production for the new Mk4

In case any of you are unaware, the SYNC2 system is being junked in favour of SYNC3 for any Focus (including RS) models built once the factory reopens in September. This has been confirmed by Ford.
