At least it's a fair bit cheaper than the mk2, under the circumstances. hehe

At peak power yes but a fair bit more through the rev range I imagine , just like many of the other maps available. We`ll have to wait for the dyno graph to be sure.
Exactly. Mountune don't chase numbers in my experience.

25bhp? Is that it?
Still covered under warranty, so they're not going to go mad. 370bhp and 510Nm is pretty strong for a hatch though and puts it very close to the A45. Great upgrade IMO, and even if they don't do much, the inclusion of the Mountune pipes and plenum is a nice touch/good value!

Just a bit anticlimactic compared to the mk2 package.

Why do Mountune always state the badge as part of the package.
I wouldn't want a stupid badge stuck to my car, would much prefer to remain incognito. Well as much as you can do driving a Focus RS. biggrin
I get it that some people feel the need to tell the world though. laugh

You didn't read it did you? £899 for an induction kit, remap and keeping the warranty. Not bad value.

Does anyone have anything official from Ford regarding this sync3 stuff?

I have spomen to the salesman I ordered with andhe has tried to do some digging but Ford are telling him the new system will be in 2017 Mustangs first.

Also you lot did well at 29k, mine was 34k albeit with all the options ticked.
Definitely on the Mustangs now coming through...

Think yourselves lucky. Us Mustang owners have been getting the shaft from Ford just as much through the whole process but we don't have the benefit of official power upgrades even though they're available in the States, and spares supply is practically non-existent.

Underseal is a particularly favourite bugbear of everyone, with the factory job not being up to scratch SOME dealers will acknowledge an offical Ford TSB to sort it out. Resulting in this:

In short, I suspect you guys, like Mustang owners, will come to realise if you don't already, the cars are fantastic; anything else to do with Ford is just bloody excruciating.

Must say, 380PS and the loss of warranty doesn't seem a great idea when you can have 375PS and keep it. Exhaust and brake discs look great though.

You'd pay in the region of 400 for an induction kit and 5+ for a seperate remap anyway so it's about right.

Okay, latest on SYNC3 is that it'll be fitted to anything built 23rd September onwards.

In my experience dealers are usually the last to know about these things, and can be unreliable concerning specific details about the cars they sell.
