Any literature on this? My dealer is still having none of it.
Your dealer is an idiot. rb5er said:
Thanks for that. Have sent him this and will eagerly await the response.
I spoke to my dealer today....and he has confirmed that I have Sync3 on my build. Ive also cancelled the forged wheels as I can now buy some better wheels and keep the standard wheels as winter wheels.Yep, just had written confirmation that I'm getting SYNC3. Car ordered March 2016, current build date showing on their computer is November this year so fingerc crossed for a slightly early Christmas present. Anybody want to buy a 64 plate Fiesta ST with Mountune MR230 installed - let me know!

any chance you guys could change the subject away from fancy stereos to actually driving these entertaining machines!
Mines 2300 miles old now - still having a blast and exploring new levels of grip in corners! (Sorry kidneys)GarageQueen said:

I'm driving mine and really enjoying it. It's like my old Clio 200 handling wise but with more power and rear biased drivetrain.Booked a track day at the 'ring next month and hopefully make time for a UK one before I go to try out the driving mode buttons.

Sorry to hijack, is the MR230 worth the upgrade over the 215?Absolutely without question. If I ever bought another ST I'd do the same again, the difference in appreciable performance when moving from 215 - 230 are considerably more than the standard - 215. Considerably. It's a fantastic upgrade and (which is less relevant I suppose) fuel economy is improved by quite a margin too. For example, I drove within the speed limit +/- 10% of course from Sheffield to Norwich ~160 miles and averaged 52.3mpg. Granted that's the very best I've had on a single journey, overall average for the last 1860 miles is 41.9mpg, average speed for the same 'trip distance' 31mph, so a mixture of everyday real world driving. It's really very impressive but I can't emphasise enough the difference between the two upgrades, its very very different, the MR230 is an awesome car.
I've been pointed towards a Focus RS from my mate as I'm moving back up north and won't need a SUV anymore.
We went to the dealer near where we work tonight. They didn't have one in to look at (but we did get to crawl over a Mustang V8 convertible :-) ) but the sales guy we spoke to said that there is a 12 month waiting list for the Focus RS now.
Does anyone have any info that can confirm that or otherwise? I'm not hugely bothered if it is true, as I think it's worth waiting for, but do need to know before I commit in my head.
Thanks.

This is about right I'm afraid, might be a bit under 12 months. We've had a few cancelled ordered but they're fetching circa £2k over a list easily. Be happy to let you know the next one I get if you like?We went to the dealer near where we work tonight. Be nice if one of you 'orrible lot that already have their cars (I am not jealous - much) put up a Readers Cars thread giving ownership experiences, problems, MPG, niggles, how hard a cricket bat needs to connect with your face to wipe your grin off after driving it etc.
Especially for us lowly Focus ST owners!
God, I wish I could afford an RS.
