Test drove one today, impressed with handling and turn in however dissapointed with the performance.
Car had done around 600miles.
Do they get quicker after a few more miles?
I thought the same. It felt slow compared to my remapped R.Car had done around 600miles.

My R was reeled in by an M240i the other day as well so I'm kind of regretting my decision to pull my M2 deposit for the FRS
Hopefully when it's done a few miles and had the 375 kit it will be better.
The FPM375 isn't actually available for fitting as yet, but when it is, you'll be able to get it through any Mountune approved Ford dealer. Our local one is TC Harrison http://www.tch.co.uk/news/focus-rs-mountune-upgrad...

It is, a friend had it fitted yesterday at Mountune HQ...My local Pro dealer told me last week that the delay is down to getting the Mountune specific air filter elements from K&N. Presumably those that do arrive are being installed at HQ as a preference to sending out to the dealers. Just a guess.
Separate note, I managed to get a test drive while my MR230 was in for a service and I was very, very impressed. Much more solid that I expected in the cabin, shell seats not too high at all imho (for me, 6'2"), engine noise under load in the cabin was superb. Quiet in the cabin otherwise which is also nice. Traction unbelievable, truly. Launch control took my breathe away. The harsh ride people talk about, I've got to say it felt much more comfortable than the media have had me believe it would. I left with a massive grin on my face (according to the sales and service team at Ford anyway!) and now cannot wait until mine arrives - what a car. Just superb.

Those are ones with 2500-5000miles on them. Not totally depreciation proof.
Still, not exactly bad for a hot hatch. I bought with the expectation it would follow a similar curve to the old car, and if it does, I'll be more than happy. I find it frankly crazy that they're going for £36kHad the Mountune FPM375 kit fitted yesterday and the drove a couple of hundred miles to the coast and back. Highly recommended!
In normal mode it's 'almost' the same as sport was. Sport is now Sport+.
Doesn't seem any worse of fuel and with the Mountune sound suppression chamber fitted, only slightly louder under load. Sounds stock cruising.
