2016 Focus RS - latest on power, price or launch date?

So the best colours imo (liquid blue and magnetic grey) arnt available in the uk?

Liquid blue isn't because it's a colour Ford are only using for initial launch purposes. The GT was liquid blue recently even though you won't be able to buy it in that colour.

The magnetic grey colour isn't currently available in the UK for the ST, but you can pick it for the RS in the UK.

I'm really stuggling with the new RS. The looks for me are underwhelming and the colours available are just boring.

I personally think the ST looks better.

No doubt it will drive well though.

Would like to see a head 2 head of the new RS vs the UK spec Mustang V8.

Not so dissimilar pricing. But which is the quicker and the better drivers car?

It's obvious which looks the better, but in the UK I'm sure more people will oddly salivate over the ugly family hatchback. But so is life.

Would still be genuine good fun to see a show down of the current fast Fords...

I wouldn't be buying one if the looks weren't subdued from the last addition, which looked like it had been styled by doing a 'trolley dash' through Halfords!

I also like the fact it has 5 doors.

That's not set in sport mode so the left hand tailpipe is closed if anyone wondered why. There's an actuator that opens it:

Still showing just the usual 5 to me.

Although it won't be the first time the internet and mobile versions of Fords configurator differ if that's the case..

Which would give you a couple k profit if you wanted to sell your allocation!?

Original price was £28940 wasn't it, so £1055 increase??

Correct. So it's now where most people expected it to come in at price wise. Just the people that put their deposit down early / confirmed a deposit before 8th October got it at the initial price.

So are you saying that if I had put a deposit down on the 20th, I am going to have to pay £1055 more than I thought on the day?

Just looking at the Ford website, the revised Focus RS pricelist is valid from the 24th October. So if you got your car spec'd up and order signed by then (not just a deposit) you'll get the cheaper price.

Seems to be different stories from different people / dealers though so who knows...

You would not have been able to place a deposit on 20th as the order books were shut on 8th Oct and then reopened on 24th. On the 24th you will have to pay the higher price.

Supply and demand mate and only those that made the early choice got the lesser price. If it helps there are rumours that Ford revise their prices every 3 months and with it being so popular is likely to go up again so best you get your deposit down sharpish or get left behind !!!

On another note - you still messing about with Bluestuff ? ! ? or even still got the GTR ?
