Hi all, my MK6 Fiesta is hard to start sometimes, but sometimes it's not.

90% of times when you turn the key you need to add throttle for it to fire up whilst turning over. It will fire up eventually if you don't add throttle but it's easier to just add throttle.

But everyone now and again, it'll start straight back up after with no throttle, just like normal.

Also, when it's been running it'll always start straight back up with no throttle

Is the car petrol, diesel?

The diesel cars have issues with injector seals, pipes rubbing and getting holes in, return pipe from the injector rail letting air in (only spouting what has previously been mentioned in a similar post on here which I have just read as the wife's 1.4tdci Fiesta is a pain in the arse to start)

As above but if it's a petrol does it happen more so when/after rain? if it is check the plug vally for water ingress (rust stains) if there are stains seal the washer knozzles on the bonnet, also have the car fault code read, not all faults will throw up an EML.
