Mondeo 2.0 TDCI 140bhp....Hunting for fuel?
Discussion
A wee update...
I blanked the EGR valve off on tuesday and noticed a difference immediately. Can't comment on mpg, as I have no idea what the mpg was to begin with. However, the first thing I noticed was that the car ran much smoother. Almost like driving a petrol. My drop in power in low gears is gone (that was a massive pain on the arse), I was also expecting the EML to come on by now for my faulty lambda sensor, Strange that it hasn't. But so far, all signs are good. So glad I done it

Thanks all for feedback.
Car had a replacement fuel filter, but it's not fixed issue. About a year ago, it had 4 new injectors by Ford due to fuel/oil getting contaminated, oil then rising levels where it needed to be drained. Anyway, it went for a service earlier in the week and spotted a leaking injector, which is probably going to point towards current issues.
