Whenever BHP figures are talked about they are always flywheel BHP, I didn't say the figure was at the wheels. just like the ST 200 is flywheel BHP NOT at the wheels.
Jesus, chill out mate. All I know is and what he was told is his ST is one of the quickest and most powerful they have seen at stage 1.
Has he informed his insurers it's got 240 bhp....Jesus, chill out mate. All I know is and what he was told is his ST is one of the quickest and most powerful they have seen at stage 1.

What the hell has that got to do with this thread, however, for your reference and so you can breathe easy, yes his insurance company are fully aware of all modifications has as his policy allows for that and other modifications and that's why he pays so much as he wants to be legal and above board, would you like to call them to check??Have you got some kind of problem with people modifying their cars...go crawl back under your stone and f@@k off please.
OP, apologies for the hijack of your thread. I only replied giving some insight as to what can be achieved with these cars and some people, although this is a car forum for petrol heads, see it fit to lambast someone especially a young person with a modified car and question one's warranty and whether one is insured to cover the modifications, another reason why I very rarely frequent PH now as it is full of idiots like I've had to deal with on this thread.

I love a bit of Pistonheads banter
Just passed the 6,000-mile barrier yesterday and still happy as Larry (whoever he is)
Andy - A friend of mine is a Revo franchisee, so I had a look at tuning options. Sounds like your boy's went well. I couldn't justify the spend on, what is at the end of the day, my motorway hack. The 200bhp is plenty.
Dynos are funny old things and the numbers are really best used for comparison on the day. I've had a couple of cars with well over 1200hp. Fairly certain that they'd give a broad range of results on different days on different dynos. Whatever the number, 240bhp shows it's a strong motor.
And for the record, the ST200 is waaaaaaaaay overpriced. I bought it because I just really liked it. And with only a few weeks to my 50th, that's a good enough reason
