Ok, just want to know what the best option is for replacing the plugs.
Ngk
Denso
I have bluefin remap so wondered if the colder plugs would be worth getting?
Any info would be great.
Cheers.

When I bought my first Mk.3 ST back in 2014 I believed the hype about cooler plugs being beneficial so I bought a set of Denso, but I noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever in performance or economy. What I did notice was my tailpipe seemed to collect a little bit more soot, but don't quote me on that. smile
I said to myself that in future I would stick with the manufacturer standard plugs, and that's what I have done when I bought another new ST in 2015.
Both cars were/are standard but I would still recommend you save your money for something else. smile

Like Ron, never noticed any difference using different plugs in other cars and I consider myself quite sensitive to noticing even small differences. I could easily tell you from a blind test whether the car is running normal or v-power fuel for example, but never seen any difference from plugs nor those "performance" leads either.

NGK are the O.E. fitted plug. ILTR6G8G is the part number. If your standard plugs are overheating (due to remap) you will need to move to a '7' heat range for this reason only.

I opted for the ngk plugs, I'll be fitting them tomorrow.
I was a little unsure as to what state of tune I would have to be at before a colder plug became necessary?

The only way you will know the plugs are running hot is to check their firing ends regularly to see if they are very white, not tan colored as they should be.

Fitted the plugs this morning, the old plugs looked ok, one had a little ceramic build up on it, and all were gapped slightly smaller than the NGKs. But the car is running very smoothly. I will check them periodically,

Sure I read a thread on here a while ago that plug condition/colour/deposits on modern petrol cars tell you absolutely fk all about how well your engine is running.
