Fiesta ST - ride quality on cars since ST200

Yes I know I'm getting old and ride quality does matter !

I've always been put off the ST by the ride quality - too harsh for me.

I've just read that the ST200 has softer springs so rides a little better - even more interesting is that all new ST's now have this set up...

So is the ride noticably better ?

I noticed when changing from a 2015 ST-3 to a 2016 ST-3 MP215. I wasnt aware of the ST200 modifications but felt as soon as I drove it that it seemed to ride a little better, less 'crashy' and slightly less jiggly round town. It's still firm but I certainly noticed an improvement.
