Hi chaps,

My friend has got an old Mondeo, and this morning his battery was flat. When he pulled the bonnet catch in the footwell to open the bonnet to jump start it, the catch snapped...

Is there any other way of getting under the bonnet without having to call out the AA??

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

Thanks, cheerio for now

I guess somebody will have to crawl underneath and release the latch from there, it's going to need a nack so somebody who's done it before will find it much easier.

Hi, You should be able to access the catch from underneath the car but you do need to have very nimble fingers i've done before but there is a bit of a nack to it.
