Sounds like a waste of a Cosworth to me frown

I haven't seen the magazine, but a RWD Cosworth in a FWD Escort van? I could understand it in a Transit, but in an Escort it just seems a lot of money and hassle for a sub-optimal end result. Even in the Escort Cosworth they used the cut-down Sierra floorpan.

Gartrac & other companies built RWD mk3 & 4 Escorts for rallying.

To do the conversion would consist of a lot of fabrication work though

A lot of fabrication work involved.

Bulkhead, trans tunnel, engine mounts, gearbox mounts, rear end, rear suspension mounts etc etc

Done the big power cossies and had alot of fun. Got a P100 pick up thats got a cossie motor in it, waste of money, effort and time.

On top of that its really dangerous to drive hard.
