There's a dot on the cam pulley that lines up with a mark on the head, the bottom end the woodruff key vertical or there is a notch cut out of the alternator drive belt pully that lines up with marks on the cambelt cover (also use these ones when doing ignition timing)
if i remember correctly you have top pulley alligned to the mark on the cylinder head and the bottom pulley to the mark on the side of the block or pump,
