Cost of New Key Fob + Reprogramming

My car is a MK1 2001 Focus Zetec that I've been told uses a 2 key system. I have the spare. How much will it cost to buy a fob and have that and the key reprogrammed and the locks on the car reprogrammed.

I'm pretty sure that if you have two working key fobs, you can programme a third yourself, saving you plenty of money. Check you hand book.

I had to get a spare cut and programmed by Ford (my second hand Mondeo only came with one key) and it was around £130 IIRC. Not cheap (

The spare isn't a fob unfortunately.

go to the breakers for the fob,go to fords for the key part and have the key cut programe it yourself
all for under a fiver.

Mine cost £145 about 2 years ago. I lost my main key/fob but still had my spare..

Cost me £87 at Ford for a spare for my Galaxy 4years ago. NOT a remote fob that would have been £143.
