Fiesta 1999year Encore 1.3 Jerking in 2 & 3rd gear

Jerking in certain gears. Same sort of jerking as if you were driving in too high a gear when you should have changed down!
Does not do this right away
only after 10 mins of driving, usually uphill
Does not happen in any other gears.
Brakes are not binding - not hot.

Any ideas?

Tirned out to be either water in fuel filter or HT leads. Changed both and car runs perfctly again.
