Ford KA Gearbox/Clutch issues

Hi all,

Missus brought the KA home last night complaining of shuddering when pulling away in 1st gear.

I took it out this morning and the car was vibrating at idle, then when I put it in 1st it just didn't feel tight, it felt a bit wobbly.

When I pulled away, I could certainly feel the judder as though the clutch and flywheel didn't want to mate. Once moving and going through the gears, it's fine though.

Any ideas? I thought possibly worn synchromesh on 1st or possible buggered gearbox mounts? Hopefully nothing too costly!
