Where aboits are you :J: ? More than welcome to have a blast in mine
Thanks for the offer, I am down on the South Coast, just along from Brighton, I think I will pop along to the dealer at the weekend though. Still in the infant stage of wanting to sell, and everytime I have got close to selling up before, I have become weak and decided I can't part with the RS Mmm, Ford

Arhh, a fair distance away I'm sure it will be hard to let go of the RS, TBH I looked at them and the only thing i didn't like was the interior, funny as I used to love the ST200 Ltd interior, must be getting old!! I guess a Focus ST3 would be pointless for you?
Yeah, I don't much like the interior of the RS, bit too garish for me Don't really like the shape of the new Focus, and while it is capable, comfortable and pretty much provides everything I am looking for, I just don't think I would like going from the RS to an ST.My dad has had 3 ST's, so had plenty of drives, and he now has the new RS, but not tried it since it's been run in. Funnily enough, I don't much like the interior of the new RS either, but for the opposite reason of the Mk1 in that I find it a bit too dark.
Guess I'm not easy to please

E46 M3 was the first thing I looked at and felt incredibly dissapointed.
645Ci's have no toys, and it was imposible to find a nice one with any options.
335i, see 645ci, no leather as standard, appalling!
VXR8, must be a red with the LS3 engine and a manual, all of which are out of budget.
So the ST is staying for a good while longer. My friend is shopping around for a Mk1 FRS at the moment, which will revitalise a bit more enthusiasms for our Fast Fords.

I've been looking at the facelifted Mk4(due October), 238ps Ecoboost engine, wonder if there will be an ST? Price is way off though, base they are £28k IIRC, that's £7K more than I paid for the fully loaded 220 spanking new!! If it were 300ps + mind...........
I like the Mk4 Mondeo, but I wouldn't buy one with my own money...4 cylinder and front wheel drive for a start. I really want RWD next.Dave_ST220 said:

Yeah i think i'd miss the V6. Honestly not bothered about FWD though!
What about the 5-cylinder turbo? Surely it's good for around 270 BHP.Had an ST220 before my FST, and I must say I miss her. Prefer the power delivery of the Focus, and the fact I was after a smaller car.
There's something about the ST220 however....I may feel the need to go back one day.
