What year was yours?
We're both front seats 8 way electric or just the drivers seat.
53-plate, January 2004. The passenger seat was also electric, but IIRC it didn't have as many adjustments as the driver seat.

I'm asking as it seems that it can be hard to find two of these cars identical sometimes, even if they were the same colours and age lol.
Obviously options from new will affect things, but it almost seems it was a case of building them with 'what was found in the parts bins that day' smile

Ive even seen them with heated/cooled seats from new which was never an option on the ST, and only done as a retrofit.
Mine is a 54 plate, but as it had the telephone pre installation kit (the little arm rest that sits in the cup holder between the front seats) it had a pre facelift ashtray/cup holder when I bought it.

Thinking about it, the passenger seat did have the same electric controls as the driver seat. They were heated too.

It's getting worse, seized NSF Caliper so I'm doing that tonight

Keep seeing things to buy for it, but I'm
Resisting for now as it's just a stop gap car

I think I need to work on my 60ft haha. Didn't exactly do the old girl proud. Got my reactions down a bit by the end of the day but that's pretty much the only consolation. Was hoping for mid to high 15's but just couldn't get the initial launch correct. A friend in his Monaro was having similar issues.

Still, a good day and good to get the ST on the clocks smile

I did 14.7 @ 97mph with a 2.4 60ft.

A mid/high 14sec pass was what I was expecting so was massively disappointed, glad to see that's what these cars are capable of Kidders. Looking at my 1/8th mile time and speed the amount of time lost not getting a decent launch is pretty evident.(did have a passenger aswell) I do need more track time this year but not really sure if I want to abuse the mondeo to that extent. Clutches and driveshafts aren't really what I want to be replacing every year biggrin

You would be very lucky to get a mid 14's, its a big car to launch and the gearbox and DMF are fragile so the time I got was with mechanical sympathey, no full throttle changes, light slip of the clutch (no dumping it).

This was a 14.8 run

That's the rectification a on mine starting, replaced the starter as it was sticking, ironically the old one freed off fine after a clean. Typical.

Fitted a new NSF caliper too as it was binding.

Next jobs to do are fit the original wheels when they arrive, and retrofit the xenons that are in the boot.

Quite enjoying this cheap old car

Fnally back on the road, last time it was driven properly was the PHEA run last September.

Sorted out the steering clonk, replaced the heavy throttle cable which has transformed it, new handbrake cables , new CV joint and boot, and then put through the MOT, no advisories.

Throughly enjoying driving it again, still moves for a big car and its sooo smooth, they have a magic thats hard to express unless you've driven a decent one.

Well spotted, she was very much in control of that feline, no cause for concern

If you really want mint I may sell up, I'm not giving it away though. Factory fresh, 5k (yes FIVE) miles fully loaded(& I mean fully loaded as in every factory option) PB saloon. 07 plate, one of the last made. By the mileage you will gather I neither have the time to drive it or require it any longer.

It would be rude not to keep a car like that in the PH family, and out of the hands of oiks. I'm just saying...
