While I remember - have a look at the tyre wear, particularly check the inside of the fronts. Worn bushes or joints can make the tyres scrub. Not a killer, but would need sorting. Not a bank breaker though. I know the 2.5 V6s are capable of 40-something mpg if you have self control on the motorway or dual carriageways, so I suspect the 6-speed 3.0 won't be much worse. In comparison to the Focus, Mondeos just feel more grown up and less like they want to be on the attack all the time, yet leave you in no doubt that they could make some serious progress if you wanted.

Sadly nothing came from the message I sent. It’s a shame as it’s an itch I need to scratch and there aren’t many of them left in good condition.
