Amazing how different those two look.

The side stripes, euro-foglight and clear high-level brake light make a big difference to the overall look. I appreciate mine was taken on a sunny day, but the paint just looks so much 'deeper' as well.

Lots of beauty cars posted up here. That XR3 reminds me of the car my mum had years ago, it was a XR3 lookalike, very chav ha ha but the car before was a Chevroley (however its spelt) and the one after a Corolla so go figure lol.

Question. I once seen a White Mondeo ST pass me by on the opposite side of the road when I 1st bought mine (07) & I must say it was the nicest one I've ever set my eyes on. Do Ford actually make white ones or was this custom painted? Never seen one again so I assume the latter of the 2.

Correct, Diamond White was special order only for the Police, would of been a de-commissioned one.

Not true although the white ones were police spec they were also available to buy my old boss had one from new, didnt have the full leather seats either.

How did he manange to order something that was never on the spec list for Joe Public? Sure it wasn't a cancelled order like some of the ST200's knocking around?

Well it wouldnt of been an ST220 then, was probably a Zetec S which could be had with the 3 litre V6 and WAS available in Diamond White. As said, Diamond White was NOT available to the public on the ST220

I didn't realise the police had them. It definatly had the ST wheels and body kit. Lovely colour, suprisingly much nicer than the blue, black & grey's.
