Dissassembly of Tuscan is complete... what now????
Discussion
Done. Almost 4 years and she is finished! Restoration is not for the faint hearted! I almost packed it in a few times! You have to be a persistent bugger to get to the end....and an understanding wife!
I've booked for Burleigh house for the karting and will be doing every drive out I can. Is anyone else planning on joining in the organised stuff over the weekend? I am looking forward to meeting some of you guys that have been following the thread and seeing what you've been up to on your own cars. In lieu of TVR bringing out a new car, TVR modifying is the most interesting aspect of the TVR at the moment. The things people are up to is awesome and should be celebrated!
I wonder if the people organising Burleigh would consider a modified TVR area?

Hello Martin, great looking Tuscan. An answer to your question!!!!. I think most of the cars off this site have been modded , so Alayne the Burleigh organizer would have an even bigger job fitting them all in !!!!!

Well, the TVR POWER 4.3 has been delivered and now its time to get on with the reassembly process.
I managed to get hold of a new and improved thermal blanket, so off came the body again (only a 3" lift this time) and out came the old and in with the new one.
This should keep the wife's feet cool in the summer!
Only got the exhaust heat shield to fit and the gearbox/exhaust manifold to assemeble onto the engine, then its time to put the engine in!!!

Are you planning something different next Martin.
Just trying to be realistic. Have a 1 year old at nursery 3 days a week and I'm commuting 5 days a week 60 miles a day. Am considering a more reliable commuting car with less than 183k on the clock and would give me in excess of 65mpg.Tried the Tesla S the other day, and although every ounce of Petrol in my blood stream said, HATE IT, its electric.....I f*cking loved every bit of it. Its the full package and I want one.
With £20k down it'll still cost me £450/week, but with no charging costs (work will provide a plug in point and energy for free), it starts to make sense.
What do you do when you've built your dream car? Film it from the sky using your mates new toy!
