locking wheel nut removal - without key!

lost that key.... need to get them nuts off

angle grind a 15mm socket so that it has the 4 teeth of a standard locking nut.... hay presto.

What part on the socket is angle grinded. Did the same thing by loosing the key, I thought about whacking them off with a bit of power from an air ratchet.
