never been before as it never fell right and living in london it was a bit of an effort. bet i'm the closest tvr owner to chatsworth now, so bring on the sun!

as an aside, i have been getting to know the guys who run the devonshire and rutland arms in baslow, and the guy who does whisky tasting there from time to time. i might be able to put together an accommodation and whisky tasting package for those hanging about the area after chatsworth if there is enough interest. i mentioned this in the whisky thread in the food&drink forum and there were a few interested.

new thread to gauge interest?

Excellent news Kev, thanks for organising this as normal, it has always been the event i look forward to the most, cant wait.

Its so great to see so many TVRs in one place & the chance to catch up with my good friends in the TVR circle that i dont always get the chance to see as much as i would like.

Lets hope for great weather now & i hope you had a good new year Kev.

Great work & i am counting the days...

Hey!! :-) I was the closet to Chatsworth as I live in Curbar. Are you closer? My wife went to school with the guy who owns the Rutland. Will have to look out for you, in a Tamora I guess...?

Daz, if Mal is doing the DTEC stand again this year, I'll take the Tuscan Challenge car down. Should be good enough to show it off by then biggrin

opposite the cavendish hotel, about 200 yards from the revolving kissing gate to chatsworth.

nice to be in proper tvr driving country rather than central london.

OK - yep know where you are. You are the closest.
I still work in London despite not living in Surrey anymore and so I like the lack of traffic round these ways.

I'll keep an eye open for you the next time I pass. Didn't realise there was another Tam so close other than pursyluv's.

Tempted to take the car along, but certainly wouldn't be driving it the whole way. I note trailers not allowed, which is fine. But is there anywhere nearby where a trailer could be left safely and car unloaded to drive the last few miles? 30 miles in the car is probably do-able; 300 isn't!

only been in the area since the end of october, and there haven't been many days i've fancied going for a blast. i have to use a cover at the moment and taking it off and especially putting it back on is a right faff too.

I'm going to risk a select few with trailers, I'm about at the limit now though.

You could put the trailer in my drive?
