With hindsight I am now glad the weather was what it was. It will distinguish itself from the normal Chatsworth meets and be all the more memorable.

You know, that's a great way to look at it - you're right, in a few years we'll be able to say "you don't know, you weren't there"! Good to meet you yesterday.

You did extremely well to get taken as many as you did, I didn't get my camera out after taking photos of the Ginetta's and Racer car. One thing for next time though, if it's bad weather can you at least make it look bad on the photos those that didn't go will be wondering what all the fuss was about

I didn't think white would suit a Sag, but I was wrong, it looked stunning.

I could not make it last year due to my Chim being broken in many ways just days before. I knew what the weather was going to be like this year and it would have been very easy to have just stayed at home. But I thought sod it, a lot of organisation has been put in to this and I want to go. Even though we all got pi"s wet through it was a great day and well worth a 200 and odd mile round trip for me. Well done to everyone who went.

Really wish that I'd made it across now. Thought the weather would REALLY deter people, but the TVRCC are obviously a tough breed! Hopefully I can turn up to a meet in my own TVR in the not too distant future :-)

Kevin, thanks for organising this one, hope the weather doesn't put you off doing it again in 2013.
Any excuse to get the V8S out for a run out is always welcomed and the conditions just made it a bit more interesting. Good to see such a high turnout considering. Some really interesting cars there, first Tuscan convertible that I've ever seen, looked great.

Bob It all depends on Chatsworth realy, I'm back down there on Wendesday and I will be putting some feelers out for 2013.

Am sure they were glad of us - we must have doubled their takings. I will speak with the Duke.

Kev - any idea on the number of cars??? You will have to create a Top Gear chart for each year - and put a large "W" next to 2012....... !!!!!!! Also agreed that the white Sag looked stunning

Due to so many variables I could not get exact numbers but it looks like we may have just hit 200. I would need a large W Mike. Thanks for your two laps of Owler bar roundabout, we had a giggle. Thanks for coming.

I think you need to add another W for Windy and a C for Cold! TBH the pictures don't convey just how cold and miserable it actually was. If it had just been the rain that would have been OK as it wasn't too heavy, it was the wind and the chill factor that did the damage. At one point it was sleeting and I've never seen so many people shivering with with bright pink, numb hands from the cold, I've been warmer in November.
