clive f said: Getsis, must make sure we meet on sunday, I have a decat pipe and mbe for you, and you have some cats for me? will carry a newspaper and wear a red carnation I'll PM you my UK mobile number, I won't be staying too long, got the ferry to catch later. For customs in Norway can you have a receipt made up that states the Y piece is a "Sample" with an invoice for £0, that way I can't be charged import tax if they ask Will save Ole a few NOK to spend on Norwegian expensive beer!

Looks like that new roof may be getting wet this weekend Paul What's the weather like there now? Just finished giving mine a good polish ready for the off in the morning, probably a waste of time and effort, but at least it will be easier to get the muck off next week

Here are a few photo's to show you why we can't use the planned area for parking. They show what was the TVR entrance and the area near the river. I have now organised the parking to be on a hard standing along with a couple of refreshment vans and the toilets and shelter (if required) in the stables is very near by. Hope you can all still have a good day out.

Oh dear not looking like its coping with the water too well!! The cerbera's would have been ok in their normal spot though they have hard tops they would have been waterproof On a serious note...everyone still planning on going? wifey came home saying 90mph gusts and monsoon rain for sunday and i shouldnt go....me thinks she is exaggerating a little bit but it could be a fun drive up

Numbers seem to be dropping like flies :-(.I'll still make my way,at least for a bit with some of the west mids crew coz we're doing the Shrigley Hall doo the night before. To be honest,if I wasn't up there Sat night I'd prob give it a miss as well.Proper shame. The hardcore will survive.I'll just sit in the Cerb eating cheese straws till I detect a leak! Then drive home in me wellies.

There are a few of us still coming down from Scotland, been looking forward to this for months, it's always been a great event, and we're not cancelling now just because of a bit of rain.

Just looked out of my window (15 miles from Chatsworth) and it's dry, with the sun trying to break through. Going to head off and fill the Wedge up with BP's finest and then head for Chatsworth (top down of course). Real men drive Wedges, with the roof down, in the rain.

OK, so the weather forecast does not seem good. There is a better than average chance of heavy rain and wind, but this is a once a year event and there is no way that I am going without my pasty! See you all tomorrow.
