W112 is per David. Engine is almost back together, steering modification to do, new batteries needed, lots of TLC from Jonny to make sure everything is A1.
Funnily enough they could well be back to life at the same time. Talk about spoilt for choice. Some people have all the luck  Think I may have first looks on the Tuscan Turbo setup next Monday... and possibly first time my "car fleet" will be together...

Indeed, clear distinctions must be made between a Speed 12, and a Cerbera Speed 12. They are not the same car. The cars Graham owns are Cerbera Speed 12s. The original Speed 12s, which DHF photographed, are missing. One is rumoured to be in a workshop with Bluebird, the other one went to HL Gorner and disappeared, and hasn't been seen since.

I guess the car that I was initially curious about was W112... But now I am curious about them all! How on earth cars of such significant can go missing I can't understand.

THe main cause is that Peter Wheeler wasn't all that sentimental and allowed the crushing and breaking up of some significant bits of TVR history, although some was unavaidable because of regulations eg The original 1990 Motorshow Griffith car. All of the Tubs for the Speed12 cerberas are accounted for Graham owns four with the fifth being unassembled and accounted for. As far as I can ascertain there were only two (at most) real speed 12s built with two show cars with plywood and steel chassis, one being the original car referred to as 'The Duck Pond' (which was crushed) and one of the two in the pictures above. I believe that one of those non runners is one of the cars referred to by King Fisher above and is the one that the owner of Bluebird 'claims' to have mislaid!!  With the HL Gorner one being a genuine car. I'm not sure if there was another Speed12 race car.

What regs out of interest ? The show Griffith (F596 ACK) was a pre-type approval prototype so it had to be destroyed to comply with the type approval regulations rather than be retained for future sale.

The yellow one ? No that was the Speed Six Griffith, I'm talking about the dark blue 1990 car with door handles and the S inspired interior. The yellow car was just a styling exercise so that would probably have been OK that one just fell under the category of 'non sentimental clear out'. ETA ^^^^ Yep that's the one.

 I have always thought that looked, sounded, and went, awesome ! Such a shame there isn't a single one around - it would still look amazing today - a beast of a car. The Top Gear video of the white one on track is just WOW ! Sounds like a Spitfire on full chat as it flies past.

Who ever gets theirs back on the road first, just promise us you will do a good quality video to put on Youtube for us mere mortals to drool over! Doesn't have to be anything fancy, actually it does, sitting at 180 down the autobahn would be nice.

And/or had orders for Speed 12s which never materialised as PW pulled the plug on the project citing 'too powerful for the road' or something similar...
