That really captures the event as I remember it. Top marks for effort Although I have to admit I'm trying to forget the worst bits and you're not helping

I can see me arriving at 1:21. The angle of your umbrella really brings back memories of the sideways rain!

I'm not in the country for some time so I would not have been able to go anyway but I have seen how bad the weather has been in the UK. Everyone who turned up deserves to give themselves a round of applause and a slap on the back and then book yourselves into the crazy hospital. This year's gathering looked more like a call of duty than an enjoyable day of Tivving.
What a shame! I hope when you all reached your homes you cleaned you TVRs with a bucket and sponge and not a hose pipe. There is a drought on you know.

Standing around had its downsides. Driving in the rain had its enjoyable moments. B roads, tail wagging, short shifting etc is great fun. Motorways, puddles, aqua planing and nervous numpties is the downside.
