Wouldn't have thought it would be that difficult to have one made,a watchmaker could apply a TVR sticker to any watch
That would work but it's not quite like having the 'real' thing which was endorsed by TVR after all.

Got me thinking though. I could buy a very basic kit car running an RV8. Likely very cheap too. Sticker it up as a TVR. Do you think anyone would notice?

maybe the photo does not do it justice, but its not a stickered up cheap cheap watch, but a limited 500 run, fully engraved and the TVR on the watch face is raised and not like those cheap ones on ebay.

Very protective of me watch LOL

Still not everyones taste, but still desired by many.

Was not aware of such at Sekonda?

Still, I'm wanting a chrono if there's one out there somewhere?

Yep, I have one too. My ex got it for me when she saw it up on eBay around 10 years ago.

It has the bezel in mph, with TVR on the face, TVR lazer etched on the strap and on the back of the case.

Was sold by TVR Personal Posession, run by a relative of Peter Wheeler's I think.

Limited run of 500.

I'd love to add a Lotus Chronograph to accompany it. But they're just as rare.

That accounts for two of the 500!

Imagine how many are never worn or ever see the light of day. I want to wear one!

There's got to be one of the 498 left someone wants to part with?

Do you have one Steve? If so the obvious place to find out would likely be eBay. Or you could send me a pm if you're willing to sell?

I have one still in the original box, never worn. Never ever thought it would become collectable smile.

I guess the watch is similar to the car - as so often quoted... they are better for being used smile

The watch forum would have a laugh at these "quality' items.
Oh I don't know. They're always running their "What watch for £50" thread showing all manner of cheapo' stuff. At least this isn't a knock-off on a Nato pretending to be a Submariner biggrin
