I can honestly say that since getting the Cerb I'm not hankering for any other car - TVR or otherwise. Ticks all the boxes and will always feel special as long as I've got a snotter to do most of my motoring in.

It would be a classic Vixen (especially if I could find my old one) or a Tairmar Turbo

But surely you wouldn't turn down a second TVR of your choice if it was offered?

SEAC first, Then a Tuscan, original, and next in line a Cerb. Might change my mind tomorrow but the SEAC seems to stay at the top.

If i could find more garage space it would be reserved for a late 4.5 Cerb and my collection would be complete

All the Cerb suggestions seem to be going for AJP. Not so much love for the Speed Six?

A Tuscan racer from the early 90's (must have a RV8) kitted out for road use

Chris71 said: All the Cerb suggestions seem to be going for AJP. Not so much love for the Speed Six? Dynamically the S6 is said to be a lot more polished, what with the higher profile tyres, slower rack and different set up. I think the problem might be that the Speed 6 in a Cerbera is by fefinition an early one with all the erm, ideosyncracies - I guess they built them between late '98 and somewhere in '03? Maybe the Speed 6 settings with the AJP engine would be the best of both worlds - or alternatively just upgrade the S6 with one of the better known aftermarket options...

I still don't quite understand why the Cerb is [allegedly] such a handful. As far as I can make out, it's basically a Chimaera chassis with a longer wheelbase, a stiffer body and a lighter engine up front. I'm not disputing the reports, but logic dictates that all these things should make a car handle better, surely?
