Griffith / Chimaera Windscreen crisis; Bulk purchase
Discussion
Are the screens completely clear? My Griff was fitted with a screen which has a green (I think) tint in the top 6 inches or so. It's probably not possible given the problems we are discussing but I'd like to keep original if possible and my screen is delaminating in the corners.
Cheers,
Simon

Guys,
Would it not make sense to consider approaching this company to do the same for all the T cars too ??
Screens have to be removed to re-trim the top dash on some models.... which older T cars are doing a bit of...
And the original screens are sh*te - the black surround goes milky after two/three years and look rubbish.
Increase the volume, reduce the price ??
I would definitely buy a Sagaris windscreen if better quality than original.
Also, what about door glass ?? Can they manufactur door glass too ? I've heard that is becoming a pig to get hold of ?? I would probably buy a pair of those !!! (not that I worry or panic buy)
Look forward to hearing from you.
If it's possible, I'm happy to start polling all the Sag/T350 owners and compile a list for you.
Great work so far.
I for one as a T350 owner would be interested in a new windscreen. As mine has become delaminated in one corner of it. Would it not make sense to consider approaching this company to do the same for all the T cars too ??

+1 I'm in...email sent ...My screen is de-laminating and I've been considering a new one for a while, but was concerned about getting a quality fit.
I did notice the poorly fitting screen on the Sportmotive LS car at the Growl and thought it odd as the rest of the car looked very well put together, so this thread clears that up.
In fact I looked at the screen fit of most of the cars at the growl and there were quite a few that didn't look quite right...I'd imagine this is a great opportunity for most owners.

Ian, I think it's great joining forces. However, before you place the order you may want to consider an alternative source. I have bought from the Finnish company and they are ok, but for customer service you would find it difficult to beat Pilkingtons at Sheerness, Kent.
Peter Swan is the Manager at Sheerness, 01795 596100, and could not be more helpful: he made a 1-off screen for a Lamborghini Miura which required a special,(he had standard tooling for the Miura in stock, but that's a long story!). Reasonable price in short timescale. They have a colossal amount of tooling from many years of production and you can see how the screens are made there, or have them delivered to branches around the country.

I'll have one too, delamination at the bottom corners on mine is appalling, happy to pay up front for the eventuality

ETA: I'd like my headlamps faired in as well (as per the last Chims). Hoping you can do this for me this winter sometime Front of the car and wing mirrors are heavily stone chipped too, so will probably be looking at having that put right also. Car is Highland Pearl, hopefully you can stil get the stuff Will send an email

This thread has just come a month too late for me. Ian, I think it's great joining forces. However, before you place the order you may want to consider an alternative source. Just had a new one fitted by X Works and Heath said they get them from Pilkingtons.
