I'm a new Chim owner and would also like to be counted in for a screen to keep in my garage if I'm not too late. Thanks, Steve

Nearly two years later - Any news. Are Chim scvreens readily available now.

Although mine isn't cracked its got thousands of tiny pit marks so when the low sun hits it you can barely see through it.

Thanks Bill.

So basically £470 inc Vat plus collect it from Camberley and pay to have it fitted - Ouch!

Any alternatives or is that pretty much the only reliable supplier?

I'm in a similar position plus with the horrid de lamination on both sides.

Any feedback from people that have had one of these screens fitted?

Cheers Pete

All the new screens being fitted currently are just that, brand new with all the TVR markings etc.

There was an issue with ill fitting screens a few years back as mentioned earlier in this thread when Multipart unknowingly took rejects that had been stored rather than disposed of from the factory when it was being cleared after it closed and put them into their stocks.

That issue was identified and new screens where commissioned. I have been unfortunate enough to have needed two of the new screens fitted in the past year and they both fitted perfectly.

I'd suggest you contact a local specialist who can get the screen for you. Mine was fitted by Heath from X-Works in Kirkham himself.

Fettle.

It wouldn't be a TVR if you didn't have to make it fit.

Agreed, but the new one I bought was unfettleable, (if that's a word)the slot for the screen was not deep
enough and the profile was not like the original. I was given a second hand one in good nick and it went on a treat

Hi Guys,

I am a Chimaera owner and might be interested in a windscreen too and I know of a friend who needs 1 too for another Chimaera.

All the best,

Frenchie
