This car started life in the midlands, who owns it now?
And who named it Vulcan?

I believe STR8SIX acquired it from Nikolai Smolensky. This was the car that was to appear at Goodwood for the launch of Smolensky's failed "we-build-any-TVRcar.com". The car couldn't be finished in time for the event though!

The car that was intended to be shown at Goodwood was intended to be a restyled car seen in sketch form in the Swiss magazine not this Tuscan.

Not sure I get this... It looks like a convertible with a carbon pedal box cover (plenty available), curved clutch&brake pedals ( plenty available ), lots of padded interior ( D&C trim ??) , black anodised gear knob etc. , a uptodate stereo and a fancy exhaust..... or am I stating the obvious. I guess it's got an LS7 smile .

PS Oh ...and it's got a hinged bonnet. jester

On the subject of the car it looked and sounded very nice when i popped in last week, a very different car to the one i saw when Jason had collected it from ze russian.
It was interesting seeing the LS install and some of the bespoke parts like the dash and LCD display, looks like allot of attention has gone into the finish detail as well clap

This must have been the car I was asking about in another thread. I was chatting to Chas at TiTT and he mentioned they had just taken delivery of a Tuscan built by the NS operation. He said that the engine install had been a bit of a dog's dinner and that Jason had reworked it all.

I have to say that it does look nice. It's a nice trim and the dash guage looks interesting.

An LS3 is plenty enough, I used the word 'only' as GW asked if it was an LS7 smile

I'd be interested to know where you've seen the curved pedals available?

hehe

The finish is looking excellent - particularly the interior. Great attention to detail as expected of Str8six. Looking forward to seeing the final product.

What should we be calling ours then Christian? (no need to answer that!)

LS3 is about 430bhp, IIRC?
