Who's got a bodyshop recommendation around SW London or anywhere along the M4?
Slight altercation with a tow bar (yes, I know I'm a tw@t, completely gutted about it) and now have a scrape on the bar between the top and bottom of the radiator where the number plate left its mark after being pushed in.
Cost irrelavent really, I just want as close to perfect paint match and finish as is possible.
I thought of trying Webbs first as I have spoken to them before and they seem thoroughly helpful and friendly, post recommendations or e:mail tales of woe.
Gutted
Thanks
Matt.

Tell me about it!
Luckily no GRP damage I think, which was my other question. Is it possible that cracks now may form in the Wings? The bonnet is loose but there is nothing obviously cracked/out of shape. To my semi-trained eye it does look just like a spray job, or would be on a metal car, is there anything I should particularly look out for?
Still
Matt.

UPDATE!
Just been out to have another look at my handiwork. Have discovered a crack in the upper part of the radiator intake (the bit above the bar in the middle). Now, knowing my luck this is going to be the most expensive part of GRP on the entire car. Does this mean new front end or can it be repaired and resprayed?
Apologies for all the questions but I am beside myself with worry now.

Done considerably worse on the 520 and Dave at Tower View (www.t-v-r-services) has basically tutted a bit and then the car comes back as good as new. I then feel guilty as I know that I will scratch it or have a close encounter of the hard kind. He has done miracles on many a body damaged TVR.

Alex, what sort of money was your respray if you dont mind me asking, and what was done?
Have so far been quoted £595 for a front end respray (inc bonnet) and £150 - 250 for sorting the crack in the GRP.
Does this seem fair?
Matt.
It also depends on what type of paint you've got, with pearlescent etc being relatively dearer, as well as whatever mixing is required.
