Not my taste at all, a bit to fetish for me, but undoubtedly very well done, and obvious quality. I'd be over the moon with a quality refit like that, and well done for having the cojones to go with something different.

very good, never heard it described as 'kitchen towel' or 'fetish' before but I see your point.
The cabin does feel far more cosy now that it's darker and changing the dash so there isn't a big gutter running along it has also made it feel more snug. This is how I wanted it to feel, I love being in a car when you feel encapsulated and in your own little bubble separated from the outside. And when it does feel closed in I just pop the roof in the boot. If anyone wanst a look I'll be at the SS at Gaydon this weekend, If the weather is decent I'll leave the roof off so you can poke your nose in

Hi Magpie21,
Just working out the detail of a retrim myself and was wondering if you could tell me how the alcantara seats have held up to use? Are they showing any signs of wear anywhere, and is there anything you would change if you were doing it again?
Many thanks
M
Hi, the seats are holding up just fine, I had the car scotchguard protected and all they need is a wipe with a damp microfibre cloth and they come up like new. They aren't showing any signs of wear and the whole car has been far easier to keep looking good than I thought. As for doing anything differently, nope, I still love it and it still has that new car smell too Just working out the detail of a retrim myself and was wondering if you could tell me how the alcantara seats have held up to use?
