How much checking ??
Not a huge amount, none of the wishbones or the steering rack were damaged. The chassis was guaranteed straight too. I fixed a 4.5 Cerb year before last and was astounded at how little impact the wishbones took to damage them so I'm fairly confident about my car's road-worthy-ness.
I think I know what you mean when you say "I can help if you haven't bought it yet" Don't worry I tend to believe what I see much more than what I hear
And no, it's a dark blue, magnolia hide 4.0, although it's dificult to tell in most of my photos

Fine, looked at both the previous cars mentioned (not a dark blue one) a while back and then was approached by the fraud squad a little while back, I had both the cars were inspected and one had had its chasis swapped and the other was not exactly legal.
When I had a call from the fraud squad they were shall we say investigating following on from the T.V. program investigating quality ..... that was aired about a month ago ish if you have bought it I am sure you have done sufficiant checks.
I was only trying to help if you haddnt bought it as when I spoke to TVR and the previous owner about the other two all kind of bits had been swapped
